Our beloved Dorothy Villa Portillo, age 73, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on November 23, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gonzalo Sr. and Maria Villa Portillo and her brothers and sisters, Gonzalo Portillo Jr., Damiana Garcia, Toribio Portillo Sr., and Pauline Portillo. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Baudelia (Roberto) Guerra, Luz (Ray) Botello, Guadalupe Portillo Sr., and Inez Mendoza; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 29, with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
