Our beloved mother and grandmother, Nellie Sanchez, age 82, was born June 15, 1933 in Austin. She passed away peacefully November 17, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents Abraham and Eufemia Casarez; beloved husband Eddie Sanchez and her siblings.
Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her children Mary C. Rodriguez, Cayetano Rodriguez (Maria), John Rodriguez (Gloria), Mary H. Rodriguez (Gilbert), Richard Rodriguez, Martina Rodriguez and Elizabeth Rodriguez (Joe); 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. James Hull, Dr. Simmons, Satellite Dialysis and Hospice of Austin.
Serving as pallbearers are Dominic Rivera, Anthony Rodriguez, Duane Ganster Jr., Jeremiah Rodriguez, Robert Segura Jr. and Gilbert Rodriguez Jr.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 20 with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
