Our beloved Inez “Nay” Alba Caballero, age 79, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 8, 2015. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 34 years, Alfred “Fred” Caballero; father and mother, Bonifaco and Margarita Alba; and her brother, Armando “Kido” Alba. Mrs. Caballero is survived by her loving children, Mary Ann, Alfred Jr., Daniel and his wife, Melinda, and Robert Caballero and his wife, Barbie; grandchildren, John Albert Hernandez, Carson, Andrew, Zavier, Matthew, Isabella, Vanessa, and Francesca Caballero and great-grandchild, Ryder Caballero; her brothers and sisters, Angelina, Pascuala, Connie, Jesse, Arthur Alba and Olivia Avila, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Inez was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was always ready and willing to help and comfort all who came to her in need. We are heart-broken knowing we will never hear her laugh, hold her hand or kiss her gentle face. A very special thanks to Mr. Manuel Lizcano for taking her to communion every Sunday, Hospice Austin, Sandy Mokarzel, Mary Vasquez, Beatrice Segovia, Mary Guerrero, Lupe Villarreal and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends for their unwavering care and support. Pallbearers will be Robert Caballero, Alfred Caballero Jr, John Albert Hernandez, Matthew Caballero, Carson Caballero and Andrew Caballero. Honorary pallbearers are Jessie Alba, Arthur Alba, Frank Rivera, and Mr. Manuel Lizcano. Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm, Thursday, November 12, 2015 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm, Mission Funeral Home (East), 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, 10:00 am, Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. Second St. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
