Obituary of John Joe Villarreal

Our beloved John Villarreal, age 60, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 11, 2015. John retired from the Marines as a Staff Sergeant, and we are grateful for his service. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Eugene Villarreal and Theresa Acevedo. Mr. Villarreal is survived by his loving wife, Noelia; children Roxy (Mike) Moreno, Jimmy Morris, Amanda Morris, and Matthew Davila; brothers and sisters, Delores (Sam) Mendez, Mary Ertman; godchildren, Frank Mojica, Jr., and Jessica Rodriguez; five beautiful grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews, and 26 great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, May 14, 2015, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home (East). Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 p.m., Friday, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas. Services will conclude with military honors following Mass.
