Our beloved Irene Trevino Vallejo, age 89, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, May 29, 2015.
Mrs. Vallejo was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Vallejo Sr., her mother and father, Eulalia and Jesus Trevino, and son, Daniel Vallejo.
She is survived by her children, Joe Vallejo, Jr., Maria Vallejo Tejeda, Agustina (Jose) Vallejo Juarez, Antonia (Santiago) Vallejo Mireles, Alice (Leo Varela) Vallejo, Stevan (Alice) Vallejo, Diana Vallejo Miller, David (Gloria) Vallejo; 35 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Honored pall bearers will be Jimmy Mireles, Jr., Pete Vallejo, Paul Vallejo, Tony Tejeda, Randy Vallejo, Manuel Miller, Max Varela, and Joseph Miller. Honorary pall bearer will be Barbara Vallejo
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2015 with recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street (East).
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Monday at San Francisco Catholic Church, 9110 US Hwy 183 S, Austin, TX. Interment will follow at Mendoza Cemetery, Hwy. 183.
