Our beloved Audencio “Cal” E. Urtado, Jr., age 71, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 20, 2015.
Mr. Urtado is survived by his loving children, Carla (Earl) Urtado-Childs, Tonua and Joshua Urtado; his sisters Enemencia (Willie) Rodriquez, Janie (Bob) Gomez, Angelina Urtado; brothers Felix (Anna) Urtado, Alfred (Elida) Urtado; grandson, Jaiden McMahon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dominga and Audencio Urtado Sr., brother Rosalio Urtado, and niece Yvonne (Leslie) Urtado.
Honored pallbearers will be Michael Urtado, Eddie Rodriquez, Victor Medel, Robert Gomez, Joshua Urtado, Ramon Lujan; honorary pallbearers will be Alfred Urtado and Felix Urtado.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015 with recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street (East), (512) 476-4355.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. Second St.. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
