Brian “Pumba” V. Romo, was born October 5, 1969 and was called home to our Heavenly Father June 17, 2015, at the age of 45. He was a loving and caring son, brother, and uncle. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He brought laughter to any situation. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel V. Romo and nephew, Claudio Castilleja, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Delfina Moncada Romo, brother, Feliberto Moncada and wife Carol; sisters, Juanita Bayer and husband David, Rosa Moncada and Daniel Baladez, Vera Castilleja and Carlos Gutierrez, Sharon Garza and husband Israel, all of Austin; Godmother, Vera Lopez of Austin; nieces, Christine Castilleja, Ermalinda Baladez, Mindy Bayer, Missy Bayer, India Edwards and husband Shane; nephews, Danny Baladez, Jr., Alex Baladez and wife Rose, Michael Castilleja, Victor Moncada and wife, Laura, Trey Bayer and wife Mara and Manny Garza; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to a Celebration of his Life, Thursday, July 2, 2015 beginning at 11:00 a.m.. Recitation of Holy Rosary in his honor will be at 12:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.
