Our beloved Maria Rendon, age 74, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Mrs. Rendon is survived by her loving husband, Robert, children, Roberto Rendon Jr. (Lola), Angelica Rendon, Laly Arriaga (Louis). In addition Mrs. Rendon leaves her beloved grandchildren, Erika, Beto, Shane, Cynthia, and Emily; great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Christian, and Betito. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, four sisters and three brothers. Maria was a very kind lady who loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She would always give us her blessing and tell us “Te quiero mucho.” The family is very thankful to family, friends, and neighbors for their love and support. The family offers a special thanks to Nurse Maren and the Gentiva hospice staff. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015 with recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street (East). Mass of Catholic Burial 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. The services for Mrs. Rendon will be complete following Mass.
