Our beloved Mr. Joe E. Castro Sr., age 83, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, October, 14, 1999. Survivors include: Beloved wife of 55yrs Margarita Castro, of Austin; Son Joe E. Castro Jr. of League, TX; Daughter, Helen King; Brothers, Ignacio Castro, Eliseo Castro, Raul Castro; Sister, Lucia Rios, All of Austin.
He was preceded in death by Parents Ignacio Sr. and Ruperta Castro; Daughter Alicia Castro Urtado and Grand Daughter Lesley Urtado.
Family will receive friends after 1pm Friday at Mission Funeral Home. Recitation of rosary will be Friday, 7:30pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, 9:30am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are members and friends of the Family.
