Our beloved, Jesus Balboa Sr., age 88, of San Marcos, Texas went to be with our Heavenly Father Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He is preceded in death by his son, Jesus Balboa Jr.; his parents, Juan and Marina Balboa; four brothers and two sisters. Jesus leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 65 years, Oralia M. Balboa; his sons, Jose Avila and Eleazer "Eddie" Balboa, both of San Marcos, Texas; daughters, Marina Avila of San Antonio, Texas, Helida Lopez of San Marcos, Texas, Rosa De La Cruz of San Marcos, Texas, and Romelia Jaime of Carrizo Springs, Texas; his brothers, Daniel and Pablo Balboa, both of Crystal City, Texas; his sister, Carmen Rocha of Crystal City, Texas; 25 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park, Martindale, Texas.
