Our beloved Socorro Quintero Hernandez, age 91, resident of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 25, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Genaro Montanez Hernandez; one son, John Hernandez; her father and mother, Manuel and Paz Quintero, and 13 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Robert (LaNeta) Quintero, Joe (Beky) Quintero, Martha (Antonio) Velez, Mary Soriano Hernandez, Jerry Hernandez, Alma Torres, and Jesse (Ruth) Hernandez, 30 beautiful grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas, followed by a Graveside Service at Assumption Cemetery, IH 35 and Ben White, Austin, Texas.
