Glafira Lucio De Jesus, 77, resident of Austin, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
A prayer service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, at 6204 South First Street. (SOUTH)
A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 13, 2015, at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel with Pastor Sebastian Castillo officiating.
Burial will follow to Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
Our beloved Glafira Lucio De Jesus, age 77, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
Glafira married the love of her life Nemesio V. De Jesus, and moved to Austin, in 1966. Together they raised their son, and enjoyed their grandchildren.
She loved being surrounded by family.
She is survived by her loving husband Nemesio V. De Jesus; son Ramon De Jesus (Ruth); 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mrs. De Jesus worked many years as a seamstress here in Austin with Scarboroughs Department Store and Paul’s Interiors. In her final years she worked for A.I.S.D.
She will be dearly missed.
