Cecilia M. Marrero
(1925 – 2015)
Our beloved Cecilia M. Marrero, Age 90, resident of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.
Mrs. Marrero was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse H. Marrero, beloved sons, Marcelino Davilla, Jr. and Joe Garcia; sisters Josephine, Molly, and Julia Martinez and brother, Manuel Martinez.
She leaves her daughters: Reymunda “Rey” Anderson, Margarita Davilla Barrera, and Cecilia Neuffer; sons: David (Paula) Sanchez, Mike Davilla, and Mike Anthony Davilla; 23 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Johnny (Susan), Paul (Rosa), Chilo, Robert (Micki), Sally, Patsy, and Delia; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 6, 2015 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, 10:00 am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
