Mary Helen Polanco
(1933 – 2015)
Our beloved Mary Helen Polanco, age 81, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 21, 2015.
Mrs. Polanco was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jesus and Elena Gonzales and two sisters, Margaret Castellon and Micaela Gonzales.
Mrs. Polanco leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband of 48 years, Louis; her children, Debra Acosta and husband, Ramiro, Melissa Mojica, Louis Miguel Polanco, Jr., and Melanie Polanco; her brothers, Jesse, Daniel, Rudy, John, and Samuel Gonzales, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Shawn Acosta, Patrick Adrian Acosta, Paul Anthony Acosta, John Mojica, Andrew Mojica, and Joe Angel Mojica. Honorary pallbearers will be Ramiro Rene Acosta and Christopher Shawn Acosta, II.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2015 with recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street (East).
Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m., Monday, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
