Our beloved Vicente Tello Ybarra, age 81, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 20, 2015.
Mr. Ybarra was preceded in death by his infant daughter Norma, father Antonio Ybarra and mother Juanita Ybarra.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Santa; children Rachel Gonzales (Tony), Rose Mary Ybarra, Vincent Ybarra Jr.; Rita Ybarra (Carlos Reyna), Christine Riffe (Billy), Joe Ybarra (Carmen Gil-Herrera), John Ybarra, Edward Ybarra (Odulia) and Veronica Coronado (Michael); 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters and brothers Mary Hernandez, Benny Ybarra, Frank Ybarra, Gilbert Ybarra and Ralph Ybarra.
The family would like to extend special thanks to his general physician of many years, Dr. Eric Lambeth of Red River Family Practice and the caring and professional medical staff of St. David’s Medical Center.
Pallbearers will be Vincent Ray Rodriguez, Edward Ybarra, Jr., Michael Coronado, Jr., Steve Hinojosa, III, Isaac Estrada, and Robert Adame, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Coronado, Andrew Morin, and Aaron Martinez, Jr.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street (South).
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at San Jose Catholic Church 2435 Oak Crest. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
