Amelia Cervantes
(1922 – 2015)
Our beloved mother, Amelia Cervantes, age 93, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 4, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Cervantes, her parents, Alvino and Adelia Soto, two sons, Joe and Domingo, and her eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Cervantes is survived by her children Alvino (Vera) Cervantes, Dominga Moreno, and Amelia (Rosalio) Hinjosa, 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015 with recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street (East).
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
