Juanito “Big John” Balderas Jr.
(1960 – 2015)
Our beloved Juanito “Big John” Balderas Jr., resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 12, 2015.
Mr. Balderas was preceded in death by his father, Juanito Balderas. He is survived by his mother, Anita Fernandez Balderas, his loving wife, Rachel; children, Patricia Balderas, Elizabeth Balderas, Teresa (Roy) Honstein, Juanito “Little John” (Jamie) Balderas III, Jonathan (Geneva) Acosta, Joe (Lila) Ramos, Nicholas Joseph (Vanessa) Ramos, Christina (AJ) Gonzalez, John Peter (Jenn) Ramos, and Jerry (Lizabeth) Ramos; brothers and sisters, Dolores Ruiz, Anita Salazar, Gregorio Balderas, Robert Balderas, Feliz Balderas, Mary Cohen, Christopher Balderas, and Pete Balderas; 53 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren on the way.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2015 with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street (East).
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
