Margaret Prado 1917-2012 Our Grandmother, Our Aunt Margaret passed away peacefully June 21, 2012 at the Christopher House surrounded by family. Margaret Prado was born October 31, 1917. She was preceded in death by her husband David Prado, daughters Lucille Prado and Doris Nazari. She is survived by Grandsons: Leon Nazari, Jason Nazari and David Prado.Step-daughter: Bertha Guerrero, many Nieces and Nephews and sister in-laws. Margaret was on original Austinite and spent many years working as a seamstress. She was the Matriarch of the family. In addition to raising her own family she was a mother to her nieces that she helped raise. Through her we learned that family has no boundaries whether you were a fourth cousin or a family friend she considered you her family and would find unconditional love in her home. She will always be in our hearts and live in our memories forever. Recitation of Holy Rosary 6 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Mission Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel. 1615 E. Cesar Chavez Street (EAST). Chapel Service 10 a.m., Monday at Mission Funeral Home Remembrance. Interment Assumption Cemetery. The Family would like to Thank West Oaks Rehabilitation and Health Care Staff for their kind and compassionate care of Margaret. Contributions in her memory can be made to Hospice Austin?s Christopher House.
