Mary Ann Galvan 1951-2012 Mary Ann Galvan, age 61, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Mary is survived by her mother Henrietta Galvan; son Paul Galvan Sr. sisters: Josie Romero(Lupe), Rita Jo Surita(Noel), Stella Galvan(Peter) and Margaret Luna(Frank); brothers Benjamin Galvan Jr. and Ignacio Galvan; companion of 30 years Ernest Guerra. Grandchildren Paul Jr. Galvan, Mariah Galvan and Christopher Galvan, Great grandson Adrian Nuncio Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruben Romero Jr., Jeffrey Romero, Paul Jr. Galvan, Brandon Luna, Brian Luna and Christopher Galvan will serve as Pallbearers. Peter E. Rodriguez will serve as honorary pallbearer.
The family sends a very special thank you to the staff at the South Congress Care and Rehabilitation.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Mission Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel 1615 E. Cesar Chavez Street (EAST). Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
