Magdalena Trevino 1935 - 2012 Our beautiful, beloved Mother was called by our heavenly Father to walk beside him. She was preceded in death by her husband, MSGT Cruz Trevino. She is survived by her children, Gloria Arreola (Augustin), Gilbert and Sandra Trevino; grandchildren John, James and Jesus Trevino, Nicholas Casarez and Daniel Jackson; sisters Maria Valdez, Lucy Lopez, Elida Lopez; brother Jose Lopez (Lucy) and many nieces and nephews. Magdalena was born in Floresville, Texas on January 12, 1935. She lived in Crystal City, Texas where she met and married Cruz Trevino. Together with their children they lived and traveled to Spain and England and throughout the U.S. A devout Catholic baptized in the Holy Spirit. She lived to pray and sing for the Lord at prayer meetings and the mariachi group at Dolores Catholic Church. Proud of her five grandsons and devoted to Nicholas and Daniel who she raised as her own. With love and compassion she touched many people?s lives till her dying days. She will be in our hearts. Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Dolores Catholic Church 1111 Montopolis Drive. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
