Santos (Sandy) Guajardo 1942-2012 Santos (Sandy) Guajardo devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Our blessed mother passed in the presence of family on May 30, 2012. Sandy was born November 2, 1942 in Lockhart, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Catarino and Fermina Contreras; son James (Jimmy) Guajardo.
She is survived by her sisters Helen Guzman (Pete), Mary Alice (Julian); her children Michael C. Guajardo, Cynthia Solis Mojica (Jimmy Rene), Gina Alcala (Thomas); her grandchildren Cindy Guajardo, Marcus Alcala, Raquel Solis, Steven James Guajardo, Roxanne Solis, Destiny Solis and six great-grandchildren all of Austin, Texas.
Sandy Guajardo was a successful business owner of L.C. Guajardo Landscaping for 27 years. She will be missed dearly but we know she will be watching over us as an angel in heaven. We love you Mom.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Southwood Nursing Center and Heart to Heart Hospice.
Formal Visitation 4:00 p.m. ? 6:00 p.m. Sunday with a Prayer Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Assumption Cemetery.
