Our beloved Esmeralda Hernandez, age 27, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 9, 2000. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her husband, Jose Juan Castillo Hernandez; children, John Arthur Mendieta, Angela Michelle Ortega, Griselda Hernandez; parents, George and Frances Mendieta; siblings, George Mendieta III, Alfred Mendieta, and Patricia Mendieta.
Recitation of rosary Tuesday, 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 9am at St. Julia Catholic Church. Rev. Msgr. Lonnie Reyes will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are members of her family.
