Mary Resendez Powers 1928 -2012 Our beloved Mary Resendez Powers, age 83, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fernando Powers.
She is survived by her daughters Mary Garcia (Richard) of Austin, Elizabeth Torrez (Rudy) of Pflugerville; sons David Powers (Margie) of Round Rock, Son William Powers of Austin and Fernando Powers of Dallas; grandchildren Richard, Tim, Marc, Matt, Michael, Jonathan, Joshua, Josiah, Joseph, Gabriela, Amber, Adam, Maryann; great-grandchildren Kaitlin, Jake, Isabella, Logan, Kristian, Christopher, Daniel, Tristian and Keira.
Formal Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Friday at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel with Pastor Rick Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Captial Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
