Our beloved Pablo ?Paul? J. Cantu, age 58, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday December 6, 2000. Mr. Cantu was preceeded in death by his Father Margarito Cantu, Brothers Margarito Cantu, Jr., Alejandro Cantu and Antonio Cantu.Survivors include: Beloved Children; Beatrice Torres and husband Gilbert, Bessie Aleman and husband Albert, Brinda Jimenez and husband Rene, Paul Cantu and wife Mary Alice, Becky Cantu and husband Armando Torres and Bertha Valdez and husband Edward all of Austin, Beloved Mother; Manuela J. Cantu of Austin, Brothers and Sisters; Eva Alvarez, Olivia Cantu Constancio, Pete Cantu Lucinda Cantu, Angelita Cantu, Herlinda Flores, Sandy Cantu and Gilbert Cantu all of Austin. Mr. Cantu is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.
Recitation of rosary Friday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Gilbert Torres, Sr., Albert Aleman, Sr., Rene Jimenez, Armando Torres, Victor Nino and Pete Constancio.
Honorary pallbearers are Gilbert Torres, Jr., Trinidad J..R. Briones, Albert Aleman, Jr., and Pete Guzman III.
