Ester G. Rivera 1937-2012 Our beloved Ester G. Rivera, age 74, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 23, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her mother Maria Garza and son Roberto (Whopper) Gonzalez.
Ester is survived by her children Osbaldo ?Oz? Gonzalez, Ernesto Gonzalez (Julie), Maria ?Cissy? Garza (Michael), Alfonso Gonzalez (Regina), Jorge Gonzalez (Linda), Dalia Gonzalez, Corina Villela, Carolina Rivera and Michael Rivera (Amy); brother Manuel Garza (Clara) ; sister Petra Sanchez (Manuel); 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Monday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church. This will conclude services for Ms. Rivera.
