Lucille LaFuente Cano 1922-2012 Our beloved Mother Lucille LaFuente Cano, age 89, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, February 3, 2012.
Mrs. Cano is survived by son Gregory Cano Jr. (Linda) of Austin; daughters Margaret Foster (Marlo) of Cedar Creek, Texas and Irene Abeita (Robert) of Austin, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gregory C. Cano Sr.; grandson Gregory Cano III; granddaughter Michelle Renee Abeita; brothers Milton LaFuente, Gilbert LaFuente and sister Esther Reyes.
The Cano family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Ramon, Long and Beverly of Shady Hollow Residential Care for the loving care they extended to our mother.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Monday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at the Chapel of Assumption Cemetery with interment to follow.
