Guadalupe Cano Tello 1929-2011 Our beloved Guadalupe C. Tello, age 82, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
Mr. Tello is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Rose (Rosie) Tello; children Ramona Gray, Jesse Tello, Josie Arjona, Janie Velasquez; step-children John Narvaez, Leticia Vallejo, Gerald Narvaez, Adrienne Ortega; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Domingo Tello; sisters Francis Tello, Janie Tello and niece Nieves Tello.
He was preceded in death by his brother Guadalupe C. Tello.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Friday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mr. Tello will Lie In State beginning at 9:00 a.m., Saturday at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church 9110 U.S. Highway 183 South with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Saul Vela, Isaiah Vela, Edward Gonzales, Antonio Ortega, Dale Gray Jr., Mario Martinez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Narvaez Jr., Alan Narvaez, Ryan Narvaez, Adrian Guerra, Antonio Ortega IV and Richard Tello.
