Our beloved Janie H. Villarreal, age 44, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday November 16, 2000. She was preceeded in death by her Father Frank Hernandez in March 2000. Mrs. Villarreal was a member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church Alter Rosary Society, a volunteer worker with the Austin Deanery Church Council of Catholic Women, Seton East Auxillary ?Las Rositas?, and a Communion Minister at Brackenridge Hospital. Survivors include: Beloved Husband; Pedro ?Pete? Villarreal, Step-Daughter; Lissa Villarreal, both of Austin, Mother; Margaret Hernandez of Austin, Sister; Delia Salmon and husband Robert, of Wisconsin, Brothers; Frank Hernandez and wife Sylvia, David Hernandez, Rene Hernandez and wife Elvia, Louie Hernandez and wife Lydia and Ray Hernandez and wife Olga, all of Austin. She is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Recitation of rosary 7:30pm Sunday at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00am Monday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
