Alfred A. Reyna Jr. (Big Al) 1945-2011 Alfred A. Reyna Jr. (Big Al), born February 04, 1945 raised in South Austin, Texas, was called to eternal rest on July 5, 2011. He is preceded by his parents Elvira Reyna and Alfredo Reyna.
Alfred is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rebecca Reyna, daughter Yolanda Alvarado, son Alfredo Reyna III, and daughter Angelica Reyna Gomez, six grandchildren and one grandchild on the way, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alfred serviced his country as a US Marine in Viet Nam. He retired from the US Postal Service where he worked as a City Carrier for 25 years.
Recitation of rosary 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First St. (South). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
