Louis Jake Merlo 1942-2011 Our beloved Louis Jake Merlo, age 68, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday May 14, 2011.
Mr. Merlo is survived by mother Clara Bailey; brothers Joe Merlo and Ward Bailey(Penny); sister Christine King(Bill) stepdaughter Lesley McDonell; Nephew Kirby King(Flory) Nieces Emma Bailey and Heather Galvan(Tim) and his favorite Boy Rascal; and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Randolph Jake Merlo; brother Herman Merlo and Step-Father Edward Bailey.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Funeral services at 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Interment wil follow at Life oak Cemetery(Manchaca,TX) .
