Maria Arroyo Navarro 1913-2011 Our beloved Maria Arroyo Navarro, age 97, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 12, 2011.
She was preceded in death by husband Carlos D. Navarro.
She is survived by children Carlos A. Navarro, Guadalupe A. Navarro, Joel A. Navarro, Manuel A. Navarro, Connie N. Rangel, Eva A. Navarro, Rebecca A. Navarro and Ruben A. Navarro; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend special thanks to her physician of 25 years Pete Garcia M.D., Gordon L. White M.D. and office assistant Peggy; F. Javier Otero M.D.; Lighthouse Hospice, Caregiver Rebecca Mitchell (Becca) and Roy Gomez with the Joy Group Ministries of Cristo Rey Catholic Church.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m., Monday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Navarro, Anthony Navarro, Manuel Anthony Navarro, Michelle Stewart, Jeffrey Navarro, Jacob C. Navarro.
