Santana F. Munoz, Jr., born December 9th, 1931 to Santana G. and Ofelia F. Munoz (both deceased) died Saturday March, 26th in Austin, TX.He is survived by his wife Rebecca Garza Munoz of Austin, TX; Three daughters: Guadalupe De La Rosa (Ovidio) of Riviera, TX; Cecilia Morales (Jesus Hector) of Centerville, TX; one son: Eric Munoz (Gloria) of Centerville, TX; three step-sons: Juan Jose Castellanos (Geneva) of West Palm Beach, FL; Antonio Castellanos of Fort Pearce, FL; and Julius Castellanos (Lisa ) of Clewiston, FL; and one brother: Adrian Munoz (Grace) of Georgetown, TX. Also 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Santana was a third-generation Kineno, born and raised on the famous King Ranch in Kingsville, TX. He was a Corporal in the United States Army, 36th Texas Infantry Division; appointed Captain of the Military Police Corp by Governor Thomas S. Bishop; Staff Sergeant of the Army National Guard of Texas, and member of the VFW Post #8925. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 28th at 7 pm at Mission Funeral Home located on Cesar Chavez in Austin, TX. Burial will follow on Tuesday, March 29th at 2 pm at the State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
