Josefina A. Cervantes 1933-2011 Our beloved Josefina Aguilera Cervantes, age 77, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
She was preceded in death by parents Rosendo and Amalia Aguilera; sister Janie Rhodes; brother Roy Aguilera Jr.; son Don Cervantes.
She is survived by her loving husband Santos Guia Cervantes;brother Danny (Paula) Aguilera; son John (Norma), Robert (Julie), Nicanor (Deanna), Rene Cervantes; daughters Mary Cervantes, Gloria Guerra and Jesse Govea, Nora and David Perez, Bea and David Maldonado, Sandra Cervantes (Jeuels), Molly and Felix Tovar; Sylvia Cervantes; 43 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great-grandson.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m., Friday at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jayris Padron, Nickolas Cruz, John Eric Cervantes, Robert Cervantes, Ryan Arzola, Santos Cervantes, Joseph Garcia, Skyler Cortinas, Jacob Cervantes.
