Raymond Austin of Garfield, Tx. passed away on March 12th. Ray was born in Victoria, Tx. and graduated UT with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Environmental Health Sciences. He was retired from the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality.Ray is survived by his father, Oscar Price Austin, wife Anita Austin, 4 children including Troy, Cody, Terri-Lou, Samantha and one grand-daughter, Bailey Rose Austin. He is also survived by his four sisters, Sherry Aikman, Sheila Austin, Sandra Mathews and Susan Austin. Family and friends are invited to share their stories at a Celebration of his life on April 2nd, from 2-4 pm at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin. Remembrances will begin a 3 pm.
