Juan C. Sifuentes The Heavens are brighter. Juan C. Sifuentes, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Helen Verver and granddaughter, Nicole Marie Beltran.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Nora Sifuentes, his daughters, Lupe Capuchino, Linda and Liz Sifuentes and sons, John, Joe, Tony, Pete, and Dan Sifuentes.
Pop?s greatest legacy is his family which includes 8 grandsons, 12 granddaughters, 12 great-grand sons, 16 great-grand daughters, and 1 great-great grand daughter. He was a great storyteller. He loved to share and reminisce about his life?s greatest experiences and struggles. His life reads like a best-selling novel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22 with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home, South First Street. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23 at San Jose Catholic Church followed with burial at Assumption Cemetery.
