Dorval Dean Nicholson 1944-2011 Our beloved Dorval ?Cowboy? Nicholson, age 66, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 27, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his mother Helen Lee Mobley; step-father Clarence Pierce.
Cowboy is survived by his wife San Juanita ?Babe? Nicholson; beloved children Lisa Nicholson and her husband James Lambert; granddaughter Ashley Ann Nicholson; great-grandson Elijah Nicholson all of Kingsland,Texas; grandson Andrew Nicholson of Austin, Texas; step-son Miguel Padron and his wife Jacinda of Austin, Texas
Visitation for ?Cowboy? will begin at 8:00 a.m. Thursday at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rey Padron Jr., Ricardo Padron, Roberto Padron, Jovito Leon, step-son Miguel Padron and son-in-law James Lambert.
?Oh the last goodbyes the hardest one to say, this is where the cowboy rides away.?
