Our beloved Mr. Ricardo Perez, age 76, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 28, 2000. He is survived by Beloved wife Luisa Z. Perez; sons Richard Perez of Kansas, Pete Perez and wife Sylvia, and Johnny Perez; daughters, Josie Ramirez, Christine Garza and husband Andrew of Kyle, Emily Velasquez of California, Cookie Lucio of San Marcos, Vera Puente and husband Andy, Linda Vasquez and husband Manuel, Alice Calderon and husband Richard, and Virgie Serrato, all others of Austin. He is also survived by 60 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Arturo Zuniga, and only sister Janie Sosa.
The Perez family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude towards Bill Kelly and NNA Dialysis staff, Dr. James Lindley, Dr. Paolo Venegoni, to the many family and friends for their thoughts and prayers.
Recitation of rosary Monday, 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 10am at St. Julia Catholic Church. Monsignor Lonnie Reyes will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Mario Santos, Michael Serrato, Andy Puente, Nat Limon Jr. Richard Calderon and Manuel Vasquez.
