Our beloved Consuelo Rivera, 86, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 13, 2010. Born on April 23, 1924 to Donato Rubio and Marianita Garza in Rositas, Coahuila, Mexico, lived in Eagle Pass, Tx. and moved her family to Austin in 1955.Survived by Her Husband of 48 years; Luciano Rivera, Daughters; Connie Acosta, Mary Santos, Lupe Espinoza, Tina Perales(Ernest), Judy Bravo(Joe), Sons; Roy Santos, Louie Santos, Rey Felan(Veronica), one Brother; Avelardo Garza(Lola) and many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by one Son; Luis Antonio Santos, one Daughter; Mary Angel Benavides, 4 Sisters and 8 Brothers.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary, Tuesday at 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday at 2:00pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers; Jason Valdez, Mike Soto, Mark Jenkins, Johnny Ray Galvan, Edwin Baez, Paul Roque, Edward Felan and Robert Felan.
