Born on Christmas Day in 1924, Eliseo C. Arocha was called home by our Heavenly Father on 11/11/10. By Royal Decree, Elizel is a Don as a Descendent of the Canary Islanders who founded the San Fernando Cathedral. He served with honors in the National Guard until 1948.Elizel is preceded in death by his Parents, Zaragosa and Mariana Arocha and his Daughters; Rebecca and Janie. Survived by the Mother of his Children; Rosie Delgado, his Children, Carolyn Cervantes (Porfirio), Rachel Garcia, Samuel Arocha (Aurora) of California, Anita Garcia and Angelina Resendez of Texas; numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Sunday at 6pm at Mission Funeral Home(Cesar Chavez). A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 1pm on Monday. Internment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
