James Boyd Mayo, Jr., 61 of Austin passed away Sunday, October 31st, 2010. Born in Lubbock, Texas in 1949 to James Boyd Mayo, Sr. and Emma Agnes Mayo who preceded him in death. He was raised in Austin and graduated from Reagan High School.James lived in Dallas during the 70?s. He worked at Calcomp Computers and owned his own company, Pegasus Computer Services. In 1985 James moved to Austin and worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer for many years. His recent employment was in maintenance at the Domain.
His favorite pastimes were spending time at Manor Downs Race Track, Bowling, and enjoying the company of his many good friends. James was an avid Longhorn and Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
James is Survived by his Sister; Susan Ann Heilman of Round Rock, TX. Nephews; Cory James Heilman and wife Kristin of San Angelo, TX, Thomas John Heilman and wife Kristina of Fort Drum, NY, Keith Lewis Heilman of Tucson AZ. Aunts and uncles; Evie Lehman, Irene Bauer, Dan and Linda Nolte, and a host of cousins and friends.
A Life?s Celebration and Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 2010 at 12:00pm at the Zilker Botanical Gardens on Barton Springs Road.
