Alejandro (Alex) E. Salazar 1924-2010 Our beloved Alejandro (Alex) E. Salazar, age 86, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 27, 2010.
He was preceded in death by spouse Mary Esther Salazar; daughter Elidia Arriaga and grandson Baby Charles Siepert.
Mr. Salazar is survived by daughters Stella Siepert (Charles), Virginia Alvarez (Willie), Olga Rivera (Adolph); brothers Chavelo Torres, Adolfo Rosales; sisters Helen Sanner, Angie Chenault; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m., Monday at San Jose Catholic Church 2435 Oak Crest. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Brian Siepert, Michael Alvarez, Tony Alvarez, Joseph Gutierrez, Eric Rivera, Steven Rivera.
