Abel Villareal Jr. 1971- 2010 Abel was born on October 20, 1971. After a courageous fight he lost his battle with Leukemia on September 23, 2010.
He is survived by his girlfriend Deanne Ienna (Granite Shoals); his daughters Lia and Leslie (Kyle, Texas); parents Abel and Margaret Villareal; sisters Brenda Rodriguez and Rosa Linda Villareal; niece Brittany Rodriguez; nephews Chris Rodriguez and Brandon Almaguer (Austin, Texas); and extended family of Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Abel will be forever remembered as a warm, humorous and compassionate person who always thought of others before himself. He was a musician who loved all kinds of music. Abel played the drums, guitar, flute, and other instruments. He was a member of the SCA. He loved horses and sword fighting and it was his dream and goal to become a Knight. It was his passion. Abel loved to cook, travel, explore and he loved history. His imagination was like no other and he loved to make home movies.
Abel was a long time employee of ThunderCloud Subs on Riverside Drive.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the family and friends for their support and prayers through this very difficult time. Special thanks go to Hospice Burnet County, Dr. Punit Chadha and the wonderful staff at Texas Oncology, the staff at South Austin Hospital Dr. Frederick LeMaistre and the bone marrow transplant team at San Antonio Methodist Hospital for the compassionate care they provided to Abel and our entire family.
