Celsa (Sally) Sosa Rmirez 1947- 2010Celsa (Sally) Sosa Ramirez passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010. She was born in Austin on Oct. 11, 1947 to Jesus and Maria Juana Sosa. She was survived by her five loving daughters, Stephanie Morrison, Marjory Landaverde, Gretchen Robles, Jessie Chavez, Janie Lua and her 13 beautiful grandchildren, Yaneisy, Cristian, Matthew, Cely, Samantha, Trey, Karen, Mariana, Stephen, Heather, Ramon, Emily and Bethany as well as three brothers, Jesse, Johnny, and Chris Sosa, her sisters, Cecilia Varela, Gloria Nava, Ophelia Ivie, Pauline Magee. She retired from Internal Revenue Service after 25 years of dedication. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Sally was a loyal Dallas Cowboy football fan. She was always willing to help those in need. She will be immensely missed by all. The family will receive friends for the viewing from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. 1st St. Austin, TX 78745. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 at San Jose Catholic Church and interment will follow at Cementario Mexicano Maria de la Luz.
