Obituary of Guadalupe (Benny) Limon

Our beloved husband and father, Guadalupe Benancio (Benny) Z. Limon, age 66, resident of Austin was born May 8th, 1934, and passed away peacefully Thursday, October 12, 2000. Mr. Limon was the service manager of Western Auto and manager of Palmer Auditorium concession dept. He retired with the State of Texas Board of Comptrollers where he was a typewriter repair technician for the Governors Mansion and Capitol area. He is most cherished as a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by beloved wife of 48 years, Agapita N. Limon; children, Guadalupe (Benny) B. Limon Jr., Victor Limon, Mercedes Limon, Hector Limon, Marie Dominguez, Lita Roman, and Jose Limon; brother Pedro Limon; step siblings, Gilbert, Oscar, Arturo, Anita, Esperanza, Amparo, and Avalina. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Limon, his aunt and uncle who raised him, Mr. and Mrs. Rosendo Zamarripa, his daughter Teresita L. Estrada, and grand daughter Lori Ann Limon.
Recitation of rosary Friday, 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, 12pm at San Jose Catholic Church. Father George Joseph will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Victor Limon, Hector Limon, Jose Limon, Benny Limon III Eleazar Dominguez, and Tom Estrada.
Honorary pallbearers are Benny Limon and Pedro Limon.
