Mendoza September 26, 1931?July 27, 2010 Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, 27 July 2010. Lina was born on September 26, 1931 in Rosenberg, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar R. Mendoza, father Juan Antonio Pimentel, mother Dora Pimentel, brother Jacob Pimentel, and sister Francisca Pimentel. She is survived by her daughters Terri Gil (Ron), Sylvia Lopez (Jose), Sue Pena (Ron) and Santa Delgado (Richard) and sons Richard Mendoza and John Mendoza. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jenny, Joyce, Veronica, Victoria, Jessica, Richard Lee, Jose, Lina, Oscar, Leona, Maurisha, Rocky, Crystal, Alexis, and Richard Anthony; 22 greatgrandchildren; four brothers; eight sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Ceci Bunker, River City Hospice, for the sensitivity and care given to Lina. Thank you also to extended family and friends for their support and prayers. Recitation of rosary at Mission Funeral Home on Sunday, 01 August 2010, at 6pm. Funeral mass at San Jose Catholic Church on Monday, 02 August 2010, at 10am. Pallbearers: Rocky Pena, Richard Lee Mendoza, Oscar Lopez, Zach Gil-Mata, Jacob Meaux, and Richard Anthony Delgado.
