Obituary of Daniel Valdez

Daniel Valdez, age 56, resident of Austin passed away on Monday October 2, 2000. He was preceeded in death by His Father Gilbert Garcia Valdez. Survivors include: Beloved wife of 31 years; Angela Ulloa Valdez, of Austin, Children; Daniel G. Valdez, Alejandrina U. Valdez, Mercedes U. Valdez and Victoria Sofia Valdez. Mother Noemi Ortega and Husband Carmel, all of Austin, Brothers; Gilbert Valdez and wife Mary, Rudy Valdez and wife Carol, Bobby Valdez and wife Gloria and Lindsay Valdez and wife Susan, all of Austin and Sister; Linda Dykman and husband David of Cedar Park. Mr. Valdez is also survived by Aunts Delia Arriola and Adelfa Carriaga both of California, Sarah Valdez, Lilian Valdez both of Michigan and Belia Rivera of Austin, and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Prayer service will be held on Wednesday 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Thursday 10:00am at El Buen Pastor Presbyterian Church 1200 Willow St.. Dr. Salatiel Palomino, Rev. Bassett and Fr. Donald Sawyer will officiate. Interment will follow in Austin Memorial Park Cemetery. A reception will follow at Covenant Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on Northland Dr.
The Family wishes to express their gratitude to the Vista Care Hospice Nursing Staff, Dr. Carsten Kampe, our friends and family for the prayers and loving support given to us during his illness.
Serving as pallbearers are Gilbert Valdez, Rudy Valdez, Bobby Valdez, Lindsay Valdez, Peter Ulloa and Benny Ulloa.
Honorary pallbearers are David Dykman, Gary Valdez, Ben Moreno, Benny Calvo and Steve Gamboa.
In Leiu of flowers donations may be made to the El Buen Pastor Early Childhood Development Center 1202 Willow St., Austin Texas in memory of Daniel Valdez
