Our beloved Julia S. Valdez, 76, of Cedar Creek, Tx., was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Preceded in death by her Husband; Alvaro Valdez, Sr., her Parents; Genaro and Tavita G. Salinas, one Brother; Israel Salinas and a Granddaughter; Amanda Valdez. Mrs. Valdez retired as a Baker with the Austin and Bastrop Independent School Districts.Survived by her Beloved Children and their Spouses; Sylvia Valdez-Ledbetter(Gary), Alvaro Valdez, Jr.(Lupe), Joel Valdez(Teresa), Yvonne Valdez, Joann McCoy(Bob), and Christine Rodriguez, one Sister; Cecilia Falcon, one Brother; Henry Salinas, 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Holy Rosary Recitation Service, Friday at 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday at 10:00am at St. Julia?s Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Christopher Ferrer officiating. Burial will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery, Bastrop, Texas.
Pallbearers will be; Alvaro Valdez, III, Gary Ledbetter, II, Mathew Valdez, Ryan Rositas, Weston Miertschin and Victor Murrieta.
