Juanita Rendon Metzger December 2, 1948 ? July 7, 2010Our beloved Juanita Rendon Metzger, age 61, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. She was the spirt of our family, the beat of our hearts, loyal fan of the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. Our light has been dimmed but her love is eternal. She was preceded in death by her parents Jorge Rendon and Amelia Rendon. Mrs. Metzger is survived by her loving husband Frank; daughter Leslie; son Frankie and girlfriend Erika; granddogs Rex and Mocha all of Austin, TX.; sister Irma Rendon of Fresno, CA.; brother Arnoldo Rendon (Yolanda) of Chicago, IL.; sister Ofelia Lozano of Austin, TX., sister Viola Peacock (Leroy) of Schertz, TX.; brother George Rendon of Fresno, CA.; nieces and nephews Yvette Lozano, Loretta Lozano, Joe Rodrick Lozano, Jordan Rosales of Austin,TX., Leroy Peacock Jr., George Peacock, Myra Contreras of Schertz, TX., Vanessa Rendon, Leticia Rendon, Precilla Rendon, Lisa Rendon of Fresno, CA., Arnoldo Rendon Jr., Edward Rendon, Elda Rendon of Chicago, IL. Juanita was a cherished, long-time employee of Marriot South Austin. She is an organ donor with Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA). Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Monday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
