Our beloved Mary Alice Torrez,55, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, June20, 2010. Preceded in death by her son, Jesse Torrez and beloved Mother Lorenza Segovia.Survived by her Father, Tony Segovia; beloved husband of 37 years, Rudy Torrez Sr. (pictured above); and 15 children, Rudy and wife Monica Torrez, Ernest and wife RoxAnne Torrez, Pete and wife Diana Torrez, NicoleTorrez, Annette and husband Adam Martinez, Brenda and husband Kevin Rodriguez, Yvette and husband Henry Cabrera, Roxanne and husband Antonio Martinez, Yvonne and husband Alfredo Herrera, Xavier Torrez, Sonya Torrez, Angela and husband Steven Trejo, Daniel Torrez, Rene Torrez, and LandriAnne Torrez; 25 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is survived by 4 sisters, Gloria Cantu, Virginia Segovia, Christine Aleman, Mary Esther Herrera; and 1 Brother, David Segovia, and spouses; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws. Recitation of the Holy Rosary, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home (E. CesarChavez). Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., at Cristo Rey Catholic Church followed by burial at Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers: Rudy, Ernest, Pete, Xavier, Daniel, and Rene Torrez.
