Esther Mancillas Montez Our beloved Esther Mancillas Montez, age 75, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 9, 2010.
She was preceded in death by husband Joe Surita Montez; brother Paul Mancillas and son Dennis Whited.
She is survived by her children Javier Mancillas, Richard Mancillas, Reuben Mancillas, Robert Mancillas, Mary Helen Mancillas, Rudy Mancillas, JoAnn Hernandez, Roy Montez , Josephina Montez; brothers and sisters Consuelo Byrne, Beatrice Garza, Sam Mancillas; 31 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m., Monday at San Jose Catholic Church Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Victor Montez, Mario Montez, David Hernandez Jr., Bobby DeAnda, Reuben Mancillas and David Perez.
